Carter Overton has served on the Foundation Board of Directors since its inception in 1986. Carter is the President of Red Arrow Energy LLC, a Houston-based management and investment company engaged in direct investment in US oil and gas exploration and production. He worked previously for Terry Petroleum Company, where he served as Vice President of Operations. Carter is a past Chairman of the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation and is actively involved in his community and the River Oaks Baptist Church..
A native Houstonian, Carter received both his B.B.A. and his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Carter has two daughters, Josephine and Sophia, and resides in Houston, Texas.
