Internships and Cooperative Work Opportunities

Under the terms of your Terry Scholar award, you are eligible for a maximum of eight semesters of funding.  If you take an internship or a job under a cooperative work arrangement that is approved by your university, then your scholarship will be suspended for up to one year while you complete the internship or cooperative work arrangement.  You will not receive your scholarship during the period of your internship and the period of the internship will not count against your eight semesters of scholarship funding.  You may require funding during your internship if you are co-enrolled.  In order to receive your stipend during this period, you must submit your request in writing in advance.
